9 Activation and Deactivation
9.1 Activation
1. Check the following requirements:
– correct electrical connections
– voltages and polarities
2. Switch the DC circuit breaker of the Sunny Island to the "ON" position.
☑ The display of the Sunny Island lights up.
☑ The Sunny Island initiates the startup phase.
The notifications shown here are issued. The last
notice is issued as soon as the start phase is
completed.
3. Start QCG. Press and hold down <ENTER> until the Sunny Island beeps three times.
☑ The QCG is started and the notice shown here
is displayed. Continue as in chapter
8.2”Starting the Quick Configuration Guide
(QCG)” (page55).

Systems with several Sunny Islands
Switch the slaves on before the master. To do this, proceed as follows.
Parameter "250.01 AutoStr"
Even with the "250.01 AutoStr" parameter set, the Sunny Island must be manually started
after each time the device is switched on using the DC circuit breaker.
