4.3. Presentation of the remote antenna
When the DIRIS B-10L is installed inside an electrical panel, losses ranging from -15 to -10 dB must be taken into account
and can have an impact on the strength of the signal.
The DIRIS B-10L can be connected to a remote antenna, located outside the electrical panel:
The remote antenna is connected to the DIRIS B-10L via a 3-meter SMA cable. The losses incurred by the antenna and the
extension cable are about -4 dB.
Therefore, the overall gain of the external antenna ranges from 11 to 16 dB.
