1. Press the function key to select Sector Width.
2. Rotate the function key to adjust the width or angle of the interest area.
■ Power
Power is used to select the amount of ultrasound acoustic power produced by the probe
in the B mode. The adjustment range of the power is 1%-100%, and ±5% can be adjusted
each time.
To adjust the power:
1. Press the function key to select Power.
2. Rotate the function key to adjust the value.
NOTE:
Expose the patient to the lowest practical transmit power level for the shortest possible
period of time to achieve a satisfactory diagnosis.
■ μScan
μScan is used to improve the image quality.
To use the μScan:
1. Press the function key to select μScan.
2. Rotate the function key to adjust the settings or disable the feature.
■ Tissue Specific Imaging
Tissue specific imaging (TSI) refers to the speed of ultrasound passing through the tissue.
TSI optimizes the image used for measurement and calculations. The greater tissue specific
characteristics the faster the ultrasound passes through the tissues.
To adjust the tissue specific imaging:
1. Press the function key to select TSI.
2. Rotate the function key to choose a tissue type.
■ Widescan
Widescan is used to enlarge the imaging area when performing a real time scan by using
the linear probes.
To use the widescan:

Select Widescan on the control panel to enable the feature.

Or, select Widescan again on the control panel to disable the feature.
