NOTE:
Once the M mode is activated, you can move the trackball to stop the M trace and
adjust the M line. The system continues tracing if the trackball is idle for more than
0.5s.
5. Optimize M-mode image. For details, refer to Section 6.3.2 Optimizing M-Mode
Images.
6. Press the M key to exit.
6.3.2 Optimizing M-Mode Images
After activating the M trace, the imaging parameters display at the bottom of the LCD
monitor.
To optimize the image:
Press the function key on the control panel to select the corresponding parameter.
Rotate the function key to adjust the settings of the corresponding parameter.
NOTE:
You can adjust all parameters in the real time M mode, but can only adjust
Chroma
and
GrayMap
in the frozen M mode.
■  Gain
M gain controls the overall brightness of the M trace.
You can rotate the Gain knob to adjust the value.
■  Frequency
The probe is capable of receiving a broadband signal with a certain start frequency and
a certain bandwidth in the real time B mode. The higher frequency brings about higher
resolution and lower penetration.
To adjust the frequency:
1. Press the function key to select Frequency.
2. Rotate the function key to adjust the value.
■  Gray Map
Gray map optimizes the brightness of each pixel in accordance with the corresponding
echo.
To adjust the grayscale curve:
1. Press the function key to select Gray Map.
2. Rotate the function key to adjust the value.
