cleaningordisinfectingyourultrasoundsystem,
transducer,andaccessories.Usethecleaning
recommendationsintheperipheral
manufacturersinstructionswhencleaningor
disinfectingyourperipherals.
Noperiodicorpreventivemaintenanceis
requiredforthesystem,transducer,or
accessoriesotherthancleaninganddisinfecting
thetransducer
aftereveryuse.(See“Cleaning
anddisinfectingtransducers”onpage 58.)There
arenointernalcomponents thatrequireperiodic
testingorcalibration.Allmaintenance
requirementsaredescribedinthischapterandin
theultrasoundsystemservicemanual.
Performingmaintenanceproceduresnot
describedintheuserguideorservicemanual
mayvoidthe
productwarranty.
