You can choose from the following 13 types
of recording in accordance with the purpose.
CD Synchro Recording
Tracks are recorded to the MD in the same
sequence as the original CD.

The CDs are recorded separately to the MDs in
the same slot numbers.

on an MD (Seamless Recording)

If all the tracks cannot fit on a single MD,
recording switches automatically to the next MD.
Tracks are not cut off and the space between
tracks is not lengthened.
Protecting a recorded MD
• To record-protect an MD, slide open the tab at the
side of the MD so the tab is concealed.
In this position, the MD cannot be recorded. To
record on the MD, slide close the tab.
• If the MD is record-protected, “Protected” appears
and the MD cannot be recorded.
Press § and eject the MD, then slide close the tab
at the side of the MD to cover the hole.
