Equipment: Waveform monitor (R, G, B)
Test Point: SDI 1 and SDI 2 connectors
Preparation
. Setting for MSU-900
MASTER GAIN → +6 dB
TEST1 button → ON (lit)
KNEE OFF button → ON (dark)
Adjustment Procedure
1. MSU menu operation:
. PAINT button → ON (lit)
. Touch panel operation
(Page 2/4) → [Knee|Slope]
Setting: Master to +99
2. MSU menu operation:
. Touch panel operation
(Page 2/4) → [Knee|Point]
Adjustment item: R, G, B, Master
Specifi cation: Set level A shown in the fi gure to
a desired level sequentially for R,
G, and B. To set level A for R, G,
and B at the same time, use the
Master.
Reference value: A = 686 mV
(98% of factory setting)
3. MSU menu operation:
. Touch panel operation
(Page 2/4) → [Knee|Slope]
Adjustment item: R, G, B, Master
Specifi cation: Set level B shown in the fi gure to
a desired level sequentially for R,
G, and B.
To adjust all levels for R, G and
B simultaneously, adjust them
using Master.
Reference value: B = 735 mV
(factory setting)
Setting after Adjustment
. MASTER GAIN/MSU-900 → 0 dB
. KNEE OFF button/MSU-900 → OFF (lit)
