Connect the router and your
computer using a second
network (LAN) cable (not
supplied) or a wireless LAN
connection.

Turn the system on.

when the connection is made.
Listening to music on
an Xperia™/Xperia
Tablet (WALKMAN®
application)
Using the WALKMAN® application, you can
play music stored in an Xperia device
(Xperia/Xperia tablet).
Note
Make sure that the Xperia device is connected to
the network beforehand, and update its Android
OS to the latest version before using it with this
system.

Connect the system to the
network.
For details, see “Preparing: setting up
for a network” (page 24).

Launch the WALKMAN®
application on the Xperia device.

Select the icon at the upper
right on the Xperia device.
The list of the devices which can be
connected with the system are
displayed.

Select [SONY:MAP-S1] (this
system).

Start playing back audio content
on the Xperia device.
The system enters the “Home Network
function mode and the selected audio
content is played back. If playback does
not start, perform the procedure again
from step 1.
