6. Updating unit fi rmware, core and display graphics
6.1 Firmware zip fi le
SOREDEX will supply a zip fi le containing all the neces-
sary fi les for the upgrade.
The zip fi le will include the following:
- s2terminal for the update
- Firmware fi le (ELEOfw_r1.00.srec)
- Core fi le (ELEOcore_r36.rbf)
- Graphics fi le (ImagesPO_r1.bin)
- Upgrade manifest fi le (ELEO-r1.txt)
6.2 Upgrading the unit fi rmware
1. Extract the zip fi les into a suitable path on your PC.
2. Open the terminal connection.
3. Key in command xu X and press ENTER
NOTE
Version number X is the version of the manifest fi le.
A message will appear asking if you wish to update
the fi rmware. Click Yes. The fi les are automatically
uploaded to the unit in correct order.
4. When fi les are updated, follow the instructions on
the terminal.
5. Restart the unit when requested.
