5.10 How to Process a Checkout
A checkout is used to complete an earlier pre-authorisation. You might need the
ROC number or approval code printed on the pre-authorisation receipt for matching
purposes.
Car rental and hotel/motel merchants most commonly use this function. This function is
an ofine process and requires the approval code printed on the receipt of the original
pre-authorisation transaction.
Note:
The terminal retains pre-authorisations for seven calendar days only.

screen.
