Observed problem:
Excessive fill time.
Possible causes and solutions:
l Make that sure site water connections are sufficient and have pressure above 2.0
bar (29 psi).
l Make sure that the water inlet hoses are not kinked or constricted.
l Make sure that the water inlets are not blocked.
Observed problem:
Sonic and/or cleaning efficacy indicator(s) do not confirm expected equipment
performance.
Possible causes and solutions:
l
Make sure that indicator(s) are placed on base of the basket in accordance with
the indicator IFU.
l
If the indicator IFU states that the tank must be empty, no medical instruments or
other items should be loaded. Note: The equipment basket should always be
used, and the indicator(s) placed inside the basket.
l
Make sure to use only a chemical that is recommended by STERIS and the
indicator IFU.
l
Make sure that the chemical dose is as stated in the wash program parameters,
and the indicator IFU.
l
Make sure that performance is checked using fresh water in the tank.
l
Make sure that equipment performs a factory standard program as described in
the wash program parameters, and the indicator IFU.
l
If sonic and/or cleaning efficacy indicator(s) do not confirm expected equipment
performance after following the troubleshooting steps described above, the
equipment owner should contact STERIS or the local distributor. STERIS contact
details are provided at the front of this manual.
