Brake fluid level
Check that the brake fluid level is between the
“MAX” and “MIN” marks on the reservoir.

Windshield washer fluid level
Check that the windshield washer fluid level is
above the bottom of the inspection window.

Steering wheel
Gently turn the steering wheel from side to
side. Make sure that it has free play of more
than 0.2 in (5 mm) and less than 2.0 in (50
mm).

Horn operation
Press the horn button to check that the horn is
working properly.
Windshield wiper and washer
Check the washer for proper fluid spray direc-
tion and the wipers for normal operation.
