NOTE:
• In some vehicles, a fast idling device increases
the engine’s idle speed slightly when the air con-
ditioner is on. This is done in order to prevent
excessive engine vibration. If the engine’s idle
speed does not increase automatically when the
air conditioner is used, the vehicle is not
equipped with a fast idling device. Use the
engine idle control to raise the engine’s idle
speed when the air conditioner is operating.
A fast idling device can be installed by any
authorized Sterling service facility.

WARNING
Do not leave children alone in the cab, even
with the air-conditioner (A/C) on. If the air
conditioning should accidentally stop, the
temperature inside the cab could climb high
enough to produce heat-related injuries.
