1 Power window switches
The power window switches function only when the
ignition switch is in the “ON” position.
On the driver’s door, there are two switches: switch
for controlling the driver’s window and switch
for controlling the passenger’s window.
Switch for passenger’s window.
To open the window, press the switch in.
To close the window, raise the switch up.
CAUTION
Do not keep any door or window open in rainy
weather, and be careful not to spill liquid on any
of the window switches. If water or any other liq-
uid gets on a window switch, it can cause a mal-
function.

WARNING
Do not allow anyone to put their hands or
head out of a window. The head or hands
could hit an object outside the vehicle, and
cause a serious injury.
WARNING
• When closing the window, always make
sure that there is nothing in the way of the
window glass as it rises. A closing window
could cause a personal injury.
Never allow a child to open or close the
window.
• When a child is in the cab, be sure to press
the power window lock switch to prevent
the child from opening and closing the
passenger’s window. Otherwise, the child
may accidentally operate the power win-
dow switch and get hands or head
trapped.
