: Assemble the blades (7 + 8) with
the screws (4).
: Place the tip guard (6) on the
cutting attachment and secure it
with the two screws (9). Only one
screw (9) needs to be fitted on
units up to serial number
9 72 318 871 (TI 09.2006).
: Mount the cutting attachment,
b 4.1.2.
4.3 Sharpening the blades
Remove the cutting attachment,
b 4.1.1.
Disassemble the cutting
attachment, b 4.2.1.
: Sharpen the blades (1) with the
USG sharpener – see USG
instruction manual.

Scale settings:
Important:
The blades (1) must not be
sharpened by surface grinding
since it would reduce the
thickness of the blades and
greatly reduce their wear life.
Assemble the cutting attachment,

Mount the cutting attachment,
