Braking using the tiller
Braking using the tiller can be performed in
the following ways:
●
During travel, push the tiller to the upper
end position. The truck will decelerate very
sharply to a stop.
●
During travel, push the tiller to the lower
end position. The truck will decelerate very
sharply to a stop.
●
During travel, release the tiller. The tiller will
automatically return to the upper end posi-
tion. The truck will decelerate very sharply
to a stop.
WARNING
The condition of the floor surface considerably af-
fects the braking distance of the truck.
The operator must consider this factor while driving.
