100 is a gain number. All even numbers are known as “gain numbers.”
Gain numbers are not specified in RPMs. They refer to RPMs per head
speed in inches per second. This means the wheel speed is dependent upon
the head speed.
Together, MM006 and 100 tell the system, “At 0.006 of an inch
from the start, change to a flow number of 100.”
This flow number specifies a value for the wheel RPMs/inches/second. It
is based on a table found in your qs/def directory.
This value must be an even integer between 0 and 254.
MM-70 specifies in thousandths of an inch the distance before the end of
the curve at which the flow changes again.
175 is a default command from the post. This is the flow rate for the
system to use in the distance specified in the MM-__ portion of this com-
mand line. The odd flow numbers 139-255 are known as “Rollback” num-
bers. Rollback refers to the distance that material is pulled backwards from
the tip in order to prevent excess material deposits at the end of a road.
Each of the odd numbers has a linear relationship to the material rollback
distance in inches.
Together, MM-70 and 175 tell the system, “At 0.070 of an inch
before the end, change to a flow rate of 175.”
SR800 specifies the step rate, or head speed in thousandths of an inch per
second. A value of 1000 would be one inch per second. A common value
is SR800, or .800 inches per second.
AC5 specifies an acceleration rate of 5 inches/second

. It changes depend-
ing upon the material.
