The SSMMRRTT Pak is intended for use with the SSMMRRTT charger only.
WWAARRNNIINNGG -- Do not insert a cracked or damaged SSMMRRTT Pak into the SSMMRRTT charger. Return damaged SSMMRRTT Paks to a
service center for recycling.

• For extended storage, store the SSMMRRTT Pak on the SSMMRRTT charger to trickle charge. The SSMMRRTT charger keeps the
SSMMRRTT Pak charged and ready for use.
• Store the SSMMRRTT Pak at room temperature within the allowable temperature charge range of 43 °F to 88 °F (6 °C to 31 °
C). Charging the SSMMRRTT Pak outside of this recommended temperature range reduces SSMMRRTT Pak life and extends
charge time.
To charge the SSMMRRTT Pak (Figure 26):
1. Insert a clean, dry SSMMRRTT Pak into the SSMMRRTT charger. Make sure that the SSMMRRTT Pak is locked into the SSMMRRTT charger.

• The SSMMRRTT charger LED indicator (B) will flash green while charging (Figure 26). The optimum charge time is two
hours.
• When the SSMMRRTT Pak is charged and ready for use, the SSMMRRTT charger LED indicator (B) turns to solid green.
2. Press the red release button (A) (Figure 26) and slide the SSMMRRTT Pak to release the charged and ready SSMMRRTT Pak from
the SSMMRRTT charger.
The SSMMRRTT charger manages charging regardless of the SSMMRRTT Pak charge state.
