NanoTune™ Technology
The NanoTune™ analyzes a fiber end face and
automatically fine-tunes splice condition to achieve an ideal
splice.
Coping with poorly cleaved optical fiber, which cannot be
spliced by conventional splicers, the NanoTune™ can yield
the best quality and low loss splices.

The Z2C is equipped with shock proof bumper that protects
it against shock from dropping. With drip proof and dust
proof equivalent to IP52, the splicer offers stable
performance even in harsh environments.

The Z2C has ECO-mode (power saving function) to reduce
battery consumption.
High capacity battery enables approx. 310 splice and heat
cycles per charge.

Wireless LAN connectivity and “SumiCloud™”
Using the dedicated wireless LAN SD card, you can connect
the splicer to your smartphone and enjoy the SumiCloud™
services like; Splice Data Management, Report Builder,
Help video, Software update, etc.

Preventive maintenance
When there is a sign of deterioration on a fusion splicer or
an accessory such as a cleaver, the SumiCloud™ notifies a
user as a caution or warning message. The caution or
warning message is sent to a field installer's smartphone,
and at the same time emailed to an administrator.
