Starting the automatic splice
Here is a summary of the splicing operation procedures.
1: Slip a protection sleeve over the fiber.
2: Strip the fiber coating and clean the
fiber. If you have performed an arc test,
prepare the fiber again.

3: Load a prepared fiber in the fiber coating clamp of the fusion splicer.

protection sleeve over one of
the fibers to be spliced before
stripping and cleaving the
fibers. The fiber protection
sleeve cannot be installed after
splicing.
