In testing emission control devices any of the following tests may be
performed as necessary, applicable or useful:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve.
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve.
- Air Pump
- Carburetor Adjustments for Vehicles Without Feedback Systems,
- Lean-misfire Adjustment.
- Lean-drop Adjustment.
- Accelerator Pump.
- Power Valve.
- High Fuel Level in Float Chamber.
- Testing the Cooling System for Combustion Gases.
- Fuel Leak.
- Exhaust Leak.
- Testing for Fumes in the Passenger Compartment.
- No-start Condition – Fuel.
