The Engine Speed Measurement Setup screen displays:

Instructions for setting up engine speed measurement.

The current status of the 8520 measurement device.

A scale for the selection of the number of cylinders in the engine.

The currently recorded engine speed.
To set up engine speed measurement:
•
Select the number of cylinders in the engine.
•
Start the engine and allow to run at idle speed
•
Connect the measurement device.
•
Wait for the engine speed to be displayed correctly
•
Press OK to proceed to the Free Measurement screen.
