GENERATOR COVER
REPLACEMENT
When replacing the generator stator or crankshaft position sen-
sor, apply THREAD LOCK “1342” to the generator stator set
bolts.

• Remove the oil separater

GEARSHIFT COVER
OIL SEAL INSPECTION
Inspect the gearshift shaft oil seal for damage or wear on the lip.
If any defects are found, replace the oil seal with a new one.
OIL SEAL REPLACEMENT
• Remove the gearshift shaft oil seal.

• Install the new oil seal with the special tool.

NOTE:
Apply grease to the oil seal lip to prevent damage when install-
ing the gearshift cover.
' 99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (USA)
99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE “A” (Others)
The removed oil seal must be replaced with a new one.
