3-50 ENGINE
• Install the washer and primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear
nut.
NOTE:
This nut
1 has left hand threads.
• Tighten the primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear nut
1 to
the specified torque with the special tool.

" Primary drive gear/oil pump drive gear nut:
50 N·m (5.0 kgf-m, 36.0 lb-ft)
• Bend the lock washer securely.
OIL PUMP
• Apply engine oil to the sliding surfaces of the oil pump case,
outer rotor, inner rotor and shaft, before mounting the oil
pump.
• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK “1342” to the oil
pump mounting screws and tighten them.

• Install the pin

• Install the oil pump driven gear
2 and E-ring
