INSPECTION
Measure resistance between the terminals when the float is at
the position listed below.
$ 09900-25008: Multi-circuit tester
If the resistance measured is out of the specification, replace the
gauge assembly with a new one.
Float position Resistance between terminals
Full 4 – 10 Ω
1/2 Approx. 38 Ω
Empty 90 – 100 Ω
73.1 ± 3.5 mm
27.1 ± 3.5 mm
50.3 mm
