Apply with some grease to inside of drive face
boss hole, and install drive face boss.
Caution
z The drive face surface has to be free of
grease. Clean it with cleaning solvent.
Install movable drive face assembly onto
crankshaft.
Movable Drive Face Installation
Press drive belt into movable drive face, and then
press down the up & down sides of the drive belt
to separate it away from the drive face boss.
Caution
z To press down the up & down sides of the
drive belt can avoid to pressing and
damaging the belt when installing the drive
face, and also can make sure that the drive
face can be tighten.
Install drive face, washer and nut.
Caution
z Make sure that two sides of pulley surfaces
have to be free of grease. Clean it with
cleaning solvent.
Holds drives face with universal fixture.
Tighten nut to specified torque.
Torque value: 5.0~6.0kgf-m
Install left crankcase cover.
