CDI. Unit
Removal
Remove the battery cover.
Remove the CDI.
Inspection
Disconnect the coupler from the CDI unit.
Make the following inspection at each terminal of
the harness side coupler.
Standard (at 20℃)
ITEM Measure at:
HU10U/W HU05U
Main Switch Black/white-green Continuity as main switch OFF
Main Switch Black/ Blue -green Continuity (battery voltage) as master switch ON
Exciter Coil Black/Red-Green 400 ~800Ω 115Ω±20%
Pulse Generator Blue/Yellow-green 50 ~200Ω 602Ω±20%
Primary Black/yellow-green 0.21Ω±10% 0.31Ω±15%
Green-high voltage
cable -w/o Cap
3~5KΩ 4.0 KΩ±15%
Ignition Coil
Secondary
Green-high voltage
cable - w/ Cap
7~12KΩ
