While you are transmitting, the LED glows red and
appears
in the display.
6 Release the PTT key when you have finished talking.
Returning to trunking mode
To exit conventional mode and return to trunking
operation, either:
■ select a position on the channel selector that is not
programmed for a conventional channel, or
■ enter two or three numbers that do not correspond to a
conventional channel, then press the PTT key, or .
The radio then returns to operating on the trunking network it was
operating on before entry into conventional mode.
If you dialled a conventional channel, then press to return to
the currently programmed channel selector position.
