Additionally, a factory-wired DC distribution block is located on the bottom left corner of the FCM. One
distribution terminal block is provided for each A4M board in the FCM. The input to this terminal block is
factory wired to its associated board set and provides 12 separate slots to supply 24 VDC to external
equipment, such as MMI units, external meter transmitters, and DC digital inputs.
3.5.2 MMI Units
The basic MMI unit contains a THMI module and, optionally, any of the following items:
• Proximity card reader
• One or two indicator lights
• Pushbutton switch
• 24-VDC power supply
