The appliance remains connected to the power supply even when it is switched
off/ready. If the appliance is not going to be used for a long time, unplug the power
cord from the wall socket. Only pull the plug, not the cable, and remove the
batteries.
Do not listen to music or the radio at high volume. This can cause permanent
damage to your hearing.
