12 Problem solving
If the device is not operating as intended, check it using the table below.
Symptom
Possible cause/solution
The device does not switch on.
The device is not powered. Connect the AC
adapter correctly to the socket and to the device.
Use new batteries.
No sound can be heard.
Turn up the volume.
The display does not turn on.
Disconnect the unit from the mains / briefly remove
the batteries and reconnect the power supply.
Poor reception via FM/DAB+.
Fully extend the antenna. Reposition the antenna
or VIOLA 2 S
The device cannot be operated.
Disconnect the unit from the power supply/shortly
remove the batteries and reconnect the power
supply.
