The GSM telephone communicator constantly communicates with the control panel via RS485 serial bus.
If the communication is interrupted (serial line incorrectly connected or missing) for more of 30 seconds and the
SMS message function is enabled, the communicator sends an emergency SMS (max. 80 digits) to the
programmed emergency phone number.
The item permits enabling and programming of the emergency SMS.
z Enabling of guided menu (terminal S)
The TP8-96 VIDEO control panel composes the voice messages itself with the help of the onboard vocabulary and
transmits them to the telephone number of the receiver through the S cable (loudspeaker terminal of the CPU board)
to the GSM telephone communicator. The messages of the guided menu are more detailed than those of the GSM
prepayed SIM.
The item permits enabling of the function.
z Enabling data channel (do not use with BACKUP formats)
Never use the GSM telephone communicator as a BACKUP channel (for the 176-188 protocols)
