3.1.3 TECNOCELL
Open the telephone configuration tables and select the Tecnocell window. On the screen is viewed:
TECNOCELL
The Tecnocell configuration table permits enabling and programming of the external GSM telephone communicator.
z Enabling
If enabled, the external GSM telephone communicator signals the alarms to the control panel in case of failure of the
integrated GSM module (primary channel).
z Answering
If enabled, the external GSM telephone communicator answers to the incoming calls sending one of the two
prerecorded voice messages reporting system status (control panel in stand-by or alarm active). The message is
repeated until the communication is closed or for max. 1 minute.
z Emergency phone number
The GSM telephone communicator constantly communicates with the control panel via RS485 serial bus.
If the communication is interrupted (serial line incorrectly connected or missing) for more of 30 seconds, the
communicator makes an emergency call to the programmed emergency phone number (max. 17 digits)
transmitting the prerecorded emergency message.
The item permits programming of the emergency phone number.
z Message
Permits programming of the message to be sent during an emergency call (number 1, 2, 3 or 4)
PRO (only for the TECNOCELL-PRO PL)
z Number of rings
Permits programming of the number of rings to be counted before the telephone GSM communicator answers to the
incoming calls (3 to 15 rings). The communicator is programmed by default to answer after 3 rings.
z Emergency SMS
WARNING
The message function is only available if the GSM telephone communicator is equipped with the
optionnal VOICE module.
WARNING
Enabling of the emergency SMS message, disables the voice emergency call.
