3.2 EXPLANATORY NOTES
3.2.1 TELEPHONE NUMBERS
Telephone numbers format
The telephone numbers items can contain max. 24 digits, inside of which it is possible to enter the telephone numbers
of a fixed network (PSTN) or of the mobile phone (GSM) or the network IP addresses.
z Telephone number Format of a telephone number.
No particular rule for the telephone number formation.
z IP address (ethernet network) Format of an IP address.
The IP address can be formed by 4 or 5 numerical items.
The last item can be finished with the letter G.
• The first 4 item indicate the IP address of the Tecnoalarm monitoring
station with which communicate.
• The fifth item indicates the access port (it is not compulsory to fill in this
item).
• The last letter G indicates to the control panel the GRPS communication
mode
The control panel can count the IP addresses using either the internal switch
connected to the Ethernet network or the GSM module in GPRS mode.
Alarm call cycle
The principal number 1 (tel 1) is called first. In case there is no answer or the line is busy, the reserve number (tel 2) is
called. If there is no answer to both numbers, the system passes to the next channel associated to the same event.
For each channel, 4 attempts are executed with either number.
