REMAINING AIRTIME REQUEST VIA SMS MESSAGE
If the provider offers this kind of service, once the provider number and (the case being) the airtime request by SMS
have been programmed, it is possible to check the remaing airtime via SMS message proceeding as follow:
Send an SMS message with the text "CREDIT" (respecting capital letters) to the telephone number of the
prepaid SIM card of the control panel.
On reception of the SMS message, the control panel interrogates the remaining airtime by sending an SMS
message to the programmed provider number.
On reception of the SMS with the remaining airtime from the provider, the control panel transmits the SMS
message to the mobile phone number used for the request.
z Airtime request SMS
Text of the message for the airtime request (max. 40 digits).
z SMS heading
The SMS sent by the control panel are automatically composed by the system. To distinguish the origin of the
messages (sender), it is possible to program an SMS heading (max. 40 digits without accents).
Since the English manuals are used in an extremely vast geographical area, involving a hudge number of mobile
phone providers and a great diversity in airtime management, it is understood that we cannot go into details. Thus,
we will confine ourselves to explaining the functions without stating any examples.
