POS READOUT i Keys-Start the instruc-
tion for the channel data readout to be
scrolled across the display and vertically posi -
ti oned on the display .
I VAR VOL TS i Keys-Start the instruction
to vertically expand or compress the display
waveform .
I CAL i Keys- Return the display waveform to
original volts per division setting .
I SEC/ DIV I Keys-Start the timing instruction
for the display waveform .
I A TIME EX PAND ON/OFF! Keys-Turn
delta time base on and off. Delta time base is
used to expand a selected portion of the
waveform record to a full display . The X cur-
sors are used to select the portion of the
waveform record to be expanded .

CH 1 and CH 2 I TRIG LEVEL/TIME i Keys-
start the instruction for adjusting the trigger
parameters.
CH 1 and CH 2 I TRIG SOURCE/SLOPE I
Keys-Start the trigger source instruction and
trigger edge selection instruction.
G:EJ Key-Selects the positive or the nega-
tive edge of the trigger source signal that trig-
gers the instrument time base . The trigger
edge selection follows the CH 1 and CH 2
I TRIG SOURCE/SLOPE i keystroke .
I HOLD/SGL SWP i Key-Holds the waveform
display or arms the trigger for single-sweep
operation. In single-sweep operation each ad-
ditional press of the I HOLD/SGL SWP i key
will rearm the trigger .
I NORMAL I Key-Selects Normal Trigger
mode for the instrument . Trigger parameters
(voltage level and timing locations) are key-
board selected .
i ROLL i Key-Disables the triggers causing
the input signal to roll across the display. Roll
mode is valid for second per division settings
of 1 second and slower .
I AUTO LEVEL! Key-Sets automatically the
trigger level at the center amplitude point of
the vertical input signal.
I AUTO i Key-Selects Auto mode for the in-
strument . Trigger parameters (voltage level
and timing locations) are keyboard selected .
Trigger free runs when input signal does not
match the preset trigger parameters.
