Source and Change-Over Keys

and change-over keys .

~ Key-Selects Channel 1 as the signal
source for the trigger , Digital Voltmeter and
Counter mode , and Signal Processing instruc -
tion .
I EXT I Key-Selects external signal as trigger
source . The ex ternal signal selection follows
the I TRIG SOURCE/ SELECT I keystroke .
I CH 2 I Key-Selects Channel 2 as the signal
source for the trigger , Digital Voltmeter and
Counter mode , and Signal Processing instruc-
tion .
I CHOP / ALT I Key-Switches between Chop
mode and Alternate mode . When in Chop
mode , Channel 2 second per division sett i ngs
and trigger source are defaulted to that of
Channel 1 . The fastest second per division

sett i ng allowed for chop mode is 20 µs per di-
vision .

I XY/YT I Key-Switches between X- Y mode
and Y-T mode . In X-Y mode , signals applied
to CH 1 INPUT connector produces the hori-
zontal ( X- axis) deflection and signals applied
to CH 2 INPUT connector produces the verti -
cal (Y-a xis) deflection . Both Channel 1 and
Channel 2 must be displayed before selecting
X-Y mode .

keys.

I DVM/ COUNTER I Key-Starts the Digital
Voltmeter and Counter mode for the selected
i nput channel . The voltmeter and counter
fields are dis played in place of the waveform
display .
I AUTO SET I Key-Automatically sets the
trigger parameters , second per division s et-
ting , and cursors for the displayed waveform .
