Auto
Just as in Normal Trigger mode , the trigger volt-
age level is manually adjusted . The time base free
runs when the instrument is not triggered .
Press: I SHIFTI I AUTOI

Hold / Sgl Swp
Holds the current acquistion and display update in
progress with the first keystroke .
Press : I HOLD /SGL SWPI
Display : SGL SWP
Press the I HOLD/SGL SWPI key a second time to
a rm the trigger circuit for a single sweep acquisi-
tion. Following keystrokes will continue to rearm
the trigg er ci rcuit for single sweep acquistion . In
single sw eep mode the instrument will only tr i gger
once after it is armed (or rearmed) , otherwise op-
erati on is identical to Normal Trigger mode .
Press: I HOLD / SGL SWPI
Display : HLD/ REARM
Roll
In Roll mode , the triggers are disabled and the
wav eform is allowed to scroll across the display.
The vo lt age level and timing trigger points are re -
move d from the display. The sweep settings must
be set to 1 second per division or slower when us-
ing Roll mode .
Press: I SHIFTI I ROLL!
Display: ROLL

Slope
The trigger slope Is selected with the GZJ key-
stroke at the end of the instruction.
Press: I TRIG SOURCE/SLOPE I GZJ
Display : TRIG S I S+/-
Trigger Voltage Level Points
The trigger level sets the amplitude at which an
input signal will trigger the instrument time base .
The trigger voltage level is indicated by a pointer
at the left side of the display, as well as
numerically in the trigger voltage " Vt " field of the
channel data readout . The voltage level can be
adjusted either with the up-arrow and down - arrow
keys or by entering a numeric value in the
instruction.
