PERFORMANCE CONDITIONS
This section consists of Electrical , Environmental ,
and Physical characteristics.
The electrical characteristics are valid when the
instrument has been adjusted at an ambient tem-
perature between 20°C and 30°C , has had a
warm-up period of at least 20 minutes , and is op-
erating at an ambient temperature between 0°C
and +40°C (unless otherwise noted).
The performance requirements for the character-
istics are verifiable , qualitative or quantitative lim-
its that define the measurement capabilities of the
instrument .

Vertical Deflection System
Deflection Factor
Range-0. 01 volts per division to 20 volts per
division in a 1-2-5 sequence of 11 steps.
De Accuracy-Within 1 % +/- 1 LSB to 6 divi-
sions full scale. Increases +/- 0.1 % per de-
gree Celsius above 20°C .
Linearity- +/-0 .5 LSB.
Step Response-70 ns.
Maximum Sample Rate-20 mega samples per
second for single channel acquisitions or 1 0 mega
samples per second in chop or alternate mode .
Vertical System Bandwidth (-3 dB)-Dc to greater
than 5 MHz.
Useful Bandwidth-Up to 5 MHz for repetitive sig-
nals and up to 2 MHz for single shot events (deter-
mined by requiring 1 0 samples per signal period).
