Basic operation
Subtitles (DVD etc.)
Some DVD discs contain subtitles in several languages.
To access the subtitles press the SUB-T button repeatedly to step through the available
subtitle languages until the desired language is found. The subtitle in the selected language
appears shortly after selection.
Audio Languages (DVD etc.)
Some DVD discs are supplied with audio commentaries/audio tracks in different languages.
To access the different audio tracks press the AUDIO button repeatedly to step through the
available audio languages until the desired language is found. The selected audio language
is heard shortly after selection.
Note: Refer to the DVD disc cover for a list of commentaries/audio language tracks.
Note: Switching to the Stereo / LEFT MONO / RIGHT MONO audio channel may vary due
to different disc (e.g. CD etc.) contents.
Zoom (DVD etc.)
The Zoom function allows you to magnify or shrink the picture displayed on the screen. You
have six preset zoom factors to choose from: 2X, 3X, 4X, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4.
Press the ZOOM button repeatedly to cycle through the available zoom levels until you
reach the level you require. When using the zoom function you can move around the picture
using the Navigation buttons. To cancel the zoom function press the ZOOM button
repeatedly until the OSD is closed.
Angle (DVD etc.)
Some DVD movie scenes are filmed using different camera angles and these may be
included on the DVD disc. These can be viewed using the Angle feature. Repeatedly press
the ANGLE button to cycle through the available angles. The TV screen will show ‘n/N’
where n is the currently selected angle and N is the total number of angles included. The set
angle will remain until changed or the disc is removed.
Search (DVD/CD/Data disc etc.)
You can search to a specific point in the DVD/CD by defining the title/ chapter/track/file or
the elapsed time.
1. Press the GOTO button. The ‘GOTO’ search bar is displayed.
2. Press the LEFT/RIGHT buttons to highlight the Title/Chapter/Track or Chapter/Track time.
3. Press the Numeric buttons to enter the Title/Chapter/Track number or Chapter/Track
time.
4. Press the OK button. Playback will continue from the selected point of the DVD/CD.
