Customising DVD Operation
Basic Operation
Title/Chapter/Track/Time Display (DVD/CD etc.)
The time display function is used to display the current elapsed time/remaining time. The
display box is shown at the top of the screen. Press the D.DISP button repeatedly to cycle
through the elapsed/remaining time information. The available types of information are:
• Title, chapter, track and total time elapsed or remaining
• Current chapter/track and time elapsed or remaining.
Repeat (DVD/CD/Picture/Data Disc etc.)
The repeat function allows you to set the TV to replay the current chapter/title/track/folder
automatically. To repeat the current chapter/title/track /folder, press the RPT button
repeatedly to enable the repeat mode. The current chapter/title/track/folder will be repeated
until the Repeat function is cancelled.
To repeat the entire disc press the RPT button repeatedly until ‘REPEAT ALL’ is displayed.
The entire disc will be repeated until the Repeat function is cancelled.
To cancel the Repeat function press the RPT button repeatedly until ‘REPEAT OFF” is
displayed.
NOTE: several different repeat modes are available depending on the disc type: SHUFFLE
/ RANDOM / SINGLE / CHAPTER / TITLE / ALL / REPEAT ONE / REPEAT FOLDER.
Repeat A-B (DVD/CD/Image/Data Disc etc.)
The A-B function allows you to specify a section of the DVD to be played repeatedly. It will
replay the section until the function is disabled.
1. When the required start point has been reached, press the A-B button. ‘Repeat A’ will be
displayed on the TV screen.
2. Press the A-B button again when the required end point has been reached. ‘Repeat A-B’
will be displayed and the selected section will replay continuously until function is disabled.
‘Repeat A-B’ remains on the screen while the section is repeated.
3. To cancel this function press the A-B button again. The DVD will then continue playing
normally.
For a CD disc the Repeat A-B function only works within the same track. When playing
others the Repeat A-B function is automatically disabled.
For Super DVD discs, the Repeat A-B function only works within the same Title/Chapter.
When playing others the Repeat A-B function is automatically disabled.
