6325 Edge Node 2 Installation Information
2 Connect the optical cables for the optical STM-1, STM-4 and STM-16
interfaces on the SIMX4, SIMX16 and SPIX modules.
Note: Please observe the minimum bending radius of the optical fiber
(35 mm), to avoid damage to the fibers.
3 Connect the cables for the 2 Mbit/s interfaces (E1) on the SPIMX
module. The coding of the open ended 120 ohm cable is shown in
‘Color coding of open ended cables’ on page 66.
Note: Remember to use special cables with balun (WK-508B-01.0-01)
if your configuration requires 75 ohm interfaces.
