runsanSNMPmanagementstationprogramsuchasMIBbrowseronalocalLANhosttoobtain
informationfromtheSNMPagent,inthiscasethe3G21WT(ifSNMPisenabled).AnSNMP
‘community’performsthefunctionofauthenticatingSNMPtraffic.A‘communityname’actsas
apasswordthatistypicallysharedamongSNMPagentsandmanagers.

1. GotoManagement>SNMP.EnableSNMPagentandsetupalloptionsaccordingtothe
screenshotbelow.
2 ClickSave/Applytoactivatethesesettings.
