Log
Indicateswhetherthesystemiscurrentlyrecordingevents.Youcanenableor
disableeventlogging.Bydefault,itisdisabled.
Log level
Allowsyoutoconfiguretheeventlevelandfilteroutunwantedeventsbelowthis
level.Theeventsrangefromthehighestcriticallevel
“Emergency”downtothisconfiguredlevelwillberecordedtothelogbufferon
thegateway’sSDRAM.Whenthelogbufferisfull,thenewesteventwillwrapupto
thetopofthelogbufferandoverwritetheoldestevent.Bydefault,theloglevelis
“Debugging”,whichisthelowestcriticallevel.Theloglevelsaredefinedasfollows:
Emergencyisthemostseriouseventlevel,whereasDebuggingistheleast
important.Forinstance,iftheloglevelissettoDebugging,alltheeventsfromthe
lowestDebuggingleveltothemostcriticallevelemergencylevelwillberecorded.If
theloglevelissettoerror,onlyerrorandthelevelabovewillbelogged.
Display Level
AllowsyoutoselecttheloggedeventsanddisplaysontheViewSystemLogwindow
foreventsofthislevelandabovetothehighestemergencylevel.
Mode
Allowsyoutospecifywhethereventsshouldbestoredinthelocalmemorybesent
toaremotesyslogserver,ortobothsimultaneously.Ifremotemodeisselected,the
viewsystemlogwillnotbeabletodisplayeventssavedintheremotesyslogserver.
WheneitherRemotemodeorBothmodeisconfigured,theWebUIwillpromptthe
youtoentertheServerIPaddressandServerUDPportwheresyslogisrunning.
