1 Pilot Pressure Adjustment
PILOT CONTROL VALVE
Check the pilot pressure using the following procedure:
Insert pressure gauge in front of winch valve. Use quick disconnect located on lower front
pilot cap. With engine at idle and boom retract running over relief, depress boom retract pedal.
The pilot pressure should be 500psi ± 25psi. Turn screw 1/4 turn clockwise to increase
pilot pressure. Turn screw 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to decrease pilot pressure. Recheck
pressure at winch valve.
