Ring Gear Bolting Sequence
MAINTENANCE CHECK
It is very important to perform periodic ring gear bolt checks. The bolts MUST BE KEPT
TORQUE TIGHTENED to a rating of 720 Ft.Lbs. (976 NM). After the initial 40 hours of
machine operation, check and tighten the bolts. If additional torque is required after the first
40 hours, then recheck each 40 hours until all bolts are found properly torqued. Thereafter,
checks should be performed SEMI-ANNUALLY.
