Test pressure (target) Set test pressure
The ZVSHK sheet as per DIN EN
806-4 stipulates the following
times and pressures:
• Testing crimp connections:
pressure max. 6 bar, test time
15 min
• Testing metal multi-layer
composite and PVC pipes:
pressure max. 11 bar, test
time 30 min
• Testing PP, PE, PE-X and PB
pipes and combined
installations made of metal
and multi-layer composite
pipes:
◦ Pressure 11 bar, test time
30 min
◦ Reduce pressure to
5.5 bar (drain water from
system), further test time
of 120 minutes.

Carrying out a test
To prevent the penetration of moisture into the instrument,
dry hoses should be used.
- The test pressure (target) must be built up manually.
