Sharing Content on your Thomson Gateway
8.2.1 Configuring the UPnP AV Media Server
Introduction
The Network File Server is enabled by default and ready to use.
Enabling/disabling the UPnP AV Media Server
Proceed as follows:
1 Browse to the Technicolor Gateway GUI.

.
2 On the Tools menu, click Content Sharing.
3 In the Navigation bar, click Configure.
4 Under UPnP AV Media Server, click Server Enabled.
5 Click Apply.
Media Database
When you plug in your USB storage device, the Thomson Gateway will automatically start building the media
database. This database contains all meta data of the media files stored on your USB storage device.
To view the status of the media database:
1 Browse to the Technicolor Gateway GUI.

.
2 On the Tools menu, click Content Sharing.
3 In the Navigation bar, click Configure.
4 Under UPnP AV Media Server, you can find the Database Status.
5 If you want to rebuild the database, click Rebuild.
