PISTON PIN INSPECTION AND SERVICING:
• Insert the piston pin horizontally into the piston pin hole, and inspect the clearance between piston and piston
Service limit 0.02 mm 0.001 in.
MEASURING THE EXTERNAL DIAMETER OF PISTON PIN:
• If the measurement is less than the service limit, the piston pin should be replaced.
Service limit 14.96 mm 0.589 in.
• After replacement, the clearance between piston pin and piston pin hole should be checked again to ensure
compliance with the proper diameter.
MEASURING THE INNER DIAMETER OF PISTON PIN HOLE:
Service limit 15.04 mm 0.5925 in.
• If the result is more than the service limit, replace the piston.
INSPECTION AND SERVICING PISTON RINGS:
• Measure piston ring-to-groove clearance by placing the ring in the ring core and measuring with a thickness
• Replace piston and rings if ring-to-groove clearance exceeds service limits.
Service limit 0.09 mm 0.0035 in.
Service limit 0.09 mm 0.0035 in.
Service limit 0.12 mm .0045 in.
