If the [ESC] key is pressed during the Automatic alignment or the Automatic
grade setting:
If the tilt error of the main unit is excessive, an error may occur during the grade setting.
The stability can be further improved by making an adjustment through calibration so as
to minimize the error of the main unit and then using the grade setting mode.
If the target tilts to left or right, an error will occur in the height from the ground to the
index. In order to obtain the accurate height of laser beam, use the value calculated by
averaging the heights from the ground to the left and right indexes.
"CHECK the AXIS" is displayed when the same axes have been set when the
instrument is set to dual axes. Reset the axes when this message is displayed.
